DevCore Academy

DevCore Academy · Accra

Learn to build with AI, and earn a credential anyone can check.

Four tracks — 3D modeling, coding, integrations and media production — each a ladder of three graded courses. You start from zero, finish each course with an assessed credential, and the top level of a track is where it becomes paid work.

Three levels, every track

The levels are sequential because each one assumes the last. Applied spends no time on what Foundations taught, so that space goes to harder, more realistic work instead.

  1. Foundations → Associate

Foundations gives you the working vocabulary

You finish able to use the tools on your own, check what the AI produced, and follow a technical conversation without guessing. No prerequisite, written for beginners.

  2. Applied → Specialist

    Applied makes you competent

Real projects, real failure modes, and the judgement to fix them. This is the credential that says you can be trusted with the work.

  3. Professional → Professional

    Professional makes it a business

Clients, quality, cost and delivery. Some Professional courses include in-person days, because part of the job is only learned on site.

If you already have experience, you can skip Foundations on any track by passing its challenge exam. You earn the same credential either way.

In person

Some of it happens on site

3D Modeling's Professional course ends with two days in a working print lab in Accra. Not a tour and not a demonstration — you run a real batch on machines that have jobs waiting, take parts through a full quality check, and pack an order that ships.

In-person sessions for the other tracks will be announced as their Professional courses open.

Seats are capped by how many people can safely work in the room at once, so session dates are booked in advance.

Every certificate can be checked

A credential is only worth something if a stranger can confirm it. Each one carries a code and a public verification page — an employer or a client can check it themselves, without going through you and without an account.

Track, level, year and number. The page shows the holder's name, the credential and the issue date. Nothing else — no email, no phone number, no address.

Questions

Which track should I start with?
The one closest to what you want to make. Every track starts at Foundations with no prerequisite, so you can begin any of them from zero, and you can take more than one.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Every Foundations course is written for beginners. Each course page lists exactly what you need before you start.
I already have experience. Can I skip Foundations?
Yes. Applied accepts a challenge exam in place of the Foundations credential. If you pass it, you start at Applied and earn the same credential either way.
Are the courses online?
Foundations and Applied are online and self-paced. Some Professional courses include in-person days — 3D Modeling's ends with two days in a working print lab in Accra.
What is the credential actually worth?
Each course awards a separately named credential with a code and a public verification page, so an employer or client can check it without going through you. It records what you were assessed on, not attendance.
When do Applied and Professional open?
As each one is written. They are listed on every track now so you can see where the ladder goes; register your interest on a Foundations course and we will tell you when the next level opens.
